Hi, Iām Katelyn.
Katelyn OāConnor is a performing and teaching artist based in Northern Maryland, known for her dynamic movement quality, musicality, and emotionally driven storytelling. She earned a B.A. in Dance from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where she studied on a full scholarship as a Linehan Artist Scholarship recipient, and received institutional grant funding to support movement-based research and choreographic exploration.
Select concert dance credits include Artful Conversation with Misty Copeland, The REACH: Opening Festival at The Kennedy Center, and Baltimore Dance Project. She has also appeared as a featured dancer in projects for the Eubie Blake National Jazz & Cultural Center, Apple TV, TUBI, and as a dance soloist in The Great Gates of Kiev with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center.
Katelyn is an experienced dance educator and choreographer in concert, commercial, and theatrical styles of dance. She has choreographed original works in both studio and academic environments, with her teaching experience ranging from ages 3 years old to adults.
